able to assist our customers with crane selection to ensure value for money is obtained for every hire. This service is best suited to customers that are capable of planning supervising and executing their own lifting operations as part of their own day to day operations such as Construction & Civil Engineering Companies, Steel and Precast Concrete Erectors, Roofers etc.
QCHS is able to provide technical support to help customers make sure their method of operations are correct and suitable. QCHS customers have their own in house Appointed Persons, however many of them still opt for our Contract Lifting Services for the more complex lifting operations.
Please
remember most of our fleet is unique to the UK. Many of our
cranes out lift larger capacity cranes in other fleets. This
provides our clients with excellent value for money. Service
is offered 7 days per week all year round, our staff are always
happy to receive your call. All of our cranes feature special
nylon outrigger mats, which in most cases prevents the use
of timbers providing quicker rig and de-rig times. Each crane
is equipped with a comprehensive range of lifting tackle.
Our chain slings are gold in appearance and made from special
high grade steel providing stronger but lighter lifting tackle.
All cranes are fitted with spark arrester exhaust systems
to cater for the petrochemical industries.
Many
of QUK's cranes boast virtual wall technology which means
the cranes can be programmed not to slew, boom or telescope
past certain limits set by the operator. This is ideal for
working along side railways, power lines, traffic and the
like. This provides a real comfort zone when working in restricted
areas. Our operators are highly trained not only via the CPCS/CITB
schemes but also in working on high voltage electricity and
national grid power sites via the EAKRING scheme and also
for working on railways training known as PTS (Personal Track
Safety). The company is also approved by the Rail Industry
via the Link Up Scheme which is supported by all major Rail
Contractors.
